Welcome to my FitDiva Personal Training website. My mission is to inspire total health, wellness and an active lifestyle that will help you live a long and happy life. Your needs are my priority and my individualized, personal programs will help you achieve your goals and keep you fit and healthy for life. As your Personal Trainer I am your mentor and support. We are on this journey together & we will have a lot of fun along the way. A mother, wife, manager and 12 years in the Fitness Industry has taught me many things, but mostly about people and their vast and differing needs. From teens to boomers, no matter where you are right now, I can help you be the best you can be. See my story below.
My Story
From my early teens through to my mid 30's I felt frumpy, unattractive and at many times lethargic. At age 34 I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis and the back of a 50 year old. There were days when I was in so much pain I had to roll out of bed on to my knees and eventually end up on my feet. I knew I had to do something about it...I couldn't keep going like this. I joined a gym to get some basic strength and fitness just so I could get though my days without pain. Six months later I'm walking with a spring in my step, turning heads at reception and getting lots of compliments about my trimmer figure. I'm feeling more energetic and start doing group fitness classes....things my doctor said I would never be able to do with my back condition. Yes, I had good days and bad days but I didn't let it stop me. If it wasn't for all those experiences I would not be where I am today. I received so much encouragement from the staff at the gym I enrolled to become a fitness professional. It was the best thing I've ever done and has changed my life forever. Now 12 years later I'm helping people get fitter, stronger and healthier every day. It's NEVER TOO LATE!
